"Today at about 17:05 hrs, an alarm went off at Workers House as a result of smoke emanating from one of the basement floors of the building. Within a few minutes, the entire building has been evacuated. Police Fire Brigade has arrived on the scene. Situation is now under control"
We have confirmed that a fire started from one car on 3rd basement of Workers House at about 17:05 hrs today. An alarm thereafter went off. We immediately activated our Disaster Management Plan & evacuated the building. Police Fire Brigade on the scene. Situation under control.
