First of all if your not a Ugandan the Rolex watches may come to mind but what we are talking here is a famous dish here in Uganda that consists of a chapati and fried eggs/ omelette. The roadside rolexes are made creatively as the people who make them normally add cabbage and raw tomatoes famously known as "nyanya embisi". This dish is really famous among students at the university who are likely to have at least once or twice a day. The price also makes it more affordable depending on the number of chapatis and eggs one is ordering. Truth be told I am not really sure how the Basoga came to be connected to this dish but it is said that they make the best rolexes.
