NTV Uganda’s popular dating show, Be My Date will back on air soon. The show returns with a brand new host after Anitah Fabiola was fired following her nude photo saga.
Betty Nassali aka Bettinah Tianah has replaced Anita Fabiola as “Be My Date” host on NTV Uganda.
It should be remembered that Anita was forced to resign from her job at the Serena based TV station after her nudes made rounds all over social media earlier this year.
“Well, the long wait is over; your favourite TV show is back , hosted by yours truly; Yap me.. Season 3 of Be My Date which starts to air this September is going to be bigger and better!” Betinah posted online.
Some of the fans of the show went up in arms against Bettinah’s new appointment.
“Yes she is beautiful but she can never replace Fabiola and reach her status. She was doing the show very well and owned the show not to mention her curves and pretty face. I hope this new chic can do the same otherwise I won’t watch the show again,” said Rukundo.
“Despite what happened to Fabiola I miss her so much I think they should have forgiven her instead of just bringing on someone new. But let’s wait and see how this new chic does her thing,” said Carol.
“Guess guys commenting negatively didn’t read the post. Let’s support if ex host was better she could be on NTV now we want ladies with good morals on national TVs like NTV. You wait for this gal am sure many of u will shut up,” said a one Mwesigwa.
