PJ Powers Fires Up Revellers In Serena Kampala, Uganda

Radio and Weasel Perform At The Concert

When a legendary artiste the scale of PJ Powers Thandeka hits the plane from South Africa all the way down here, for a show, you can bet your bottom shilling it is going to be a big thing
And so it was last night at the Jabulani Charity Concert at The Kampala Serena Hotel, Victoria Hall, which was filled with recognisable faces including, the speaker of parliament, Hon. Rebecca Kadaga, who was the guest of honour.

The show kicked off in full force with an award winning dancing group, Rocky’s Troupe firing up attendees, but that was only to warm them up for nicer things to come.

And so it was last night at the Jabulani Charity Concert at The Kampala Serena Hotel, Victoria Hall, which was filled with recognisable faces including, the speaker of parliament, Hon. Rebecca Kadaga, who was the guest of honour.

Still, that was just the beginning of a big party, the prime moment for everyone came when PJ performed, Jabulani, the world’s favorite. Not anyone remained seated. Not anyone


The show was all about the girl child. It was intended to fund-raise toward the growth of The Girl Initiative Uganda, a local nonprofit organisation which educates and caters for girls.
